I’m fascinated by the ways chemistry helps explain the world around us, which drives me to explore concepts deeply and apply them thoughtfully in both academic and practical contexts. I enjoy analyzing reactions and visualizing molecular structures, approaching each challenge with a problem-solving mindset that breaks complex ideas into manageable steps. Through careful experimentation, I find clarity in the patterns and connections that underlie scientific phenomena. Sophomore year I took AP Chemistry where I was able to expand my Chemistry knowledge at the college level. Then, set my eyes on expanding the applications of chemistry that I have. Last year, I took AP Physics C Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism which allowed me to deepen my understanding of energy and the movement of electrons. This year, I am taking AP Biology and Earth Science Honors, which expands the applications of chemistry that I have; now, the applications have expanded into biochemistry, minerals and is ever growing.
